Design flow for an accountant digital system

Needs
As a requirement from the Product Owner is necessary to verify the information architecture in a new flow for the product

My role
My role as a UXUI designer and a member of a team of 4 designers in the project was to create a high-fidelity prototype and did interviews with specific tasks to analyze the new flow, and show the result to the team and PO to get a conclusion and make decisions.

Challenge
Did virtual interviews and try to empathize with users to get better responses in the sessions
Analyze and filter all the information and present to the team

Activities
Preview at the prototype whit the team we create a Design system using the atomic design methodology.

I create the high-fidelity prototype whit interaction between the different screens to preparing the file to do interviews.

I created a script to follow in the interviews, with the PO we selected the task to use in the virtual sesion whit the final user.

With the PO we selected the final users to do the interviews.

I recollect and analyze the information in optimal workshop that I obtain and presented with the team.

Methodology we use
We follow Desing thinking methodology identifying each stage at the beginning, empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test

Work team
I had the support by 3 UI and 1 UX designers, I was the principal that I did the project hand to hand with the PO I was the responsible to started and fished the project

General Objective
Evaluate the successes and frustrations in the usability of the flow that the user experiences while navigating through the Figma prototype. Through analysis, determine the viability of the flow, and based on the results, propose and decide on improvements and successful elements.

Secondary objectives:

Gather information on positive and negative feedback based on user experiences using the prototype

Identify usability issues related to user interactions.

Evaluate if the user successfully completes the assigned tasks.

Analyze the data collected in the usability test to identify patterns and trends, and based on that, create a report.

findings
After conducting user interviews to test the flow, we observed key insights into user behavior and pinpointed areas of friction. These findings will guide iterative improvements to enhance usability, ensuring a smoother, more intuitive experience for the users.

Communication
We implement a communication channel through the tool Slack, and share a figma file to maintain all members in the same line

Learning
Conducting user interviews to test the flow taught me the importance of direct feedback. Observing users in real-time highlighted unexpected pain points and validated certain design choices. This experience reinforced the value of involving users early to create a more user-centered and effective design.
