Needs
These web applications grow from the necessity to offer products in the street like; ice, food for dogs, cleaner stuff and utility bills.
My role
My role as a UXUI Designer in this project was to create the concept from the initial stage, select the best color pallet, typography, the information architecture in the screens, the perfect tool to this project was figma.
Challenge
Design a vertical interface in a huge screen, keep in mind a strategic organization in elements and have present the Usability Heuristics for User Interface Design.
Activities
Based on the flow chart I create a sesion with the team, in the stage of ideate in DT and guide a sesion about crazy eights methodology to generate and explore ideas.
Based on results from the crazy eights I create the concept, screens and wireframes low and high fidelity also the screens prototype
I implemented a menu bar where the user can interact and made easier the usability in the huge screen
Methodology we use
We follow Desing thinking methodology identifying each stage at the beginning, empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test
Work team
I guided this project, and I had the support by one front end and one back end, I am the user interface and user experience responsible, I follow-up the project from initial stage until launch.
findings
I implement big buttons, text and icons, to enhance accessibility to help older people whit motor disability and poor visibility to facilitate the use of our system.
Organized different logos to not have visual saturation and prioritized the most popular to the less popular.
I implement a scroll bar to notice the user more content in the screen.
I implement an action menu in the bottom screen, to notice to the user different actions depending on the screen.
Communication
Effective communication in a UX/UI team ensures alignment, minimizes misunderstandings, promotes collaboration, and enhances productivity, ultimately leading to better design outcomes.
Learning
I welcomed feedback and stayed open-minded to keep moving forward in the process.
Being human means making mistakes, and I learn from them. Communication is essential to any project’s success.
Final Design
This is the initial design we implemented in the first phase, launching the app within a company with 15 users.
